I've spent years watching operators cut corners on catering just because they know the view of the Hungarian Parliament does the heavy lifting for them. But every now and then, a lead comes across my desk that actually justifies the hype. This Budapest run is one of the few that doesn't feel like a factory line; the live folk music actually has some teeth to it, and the food isn't just an afterthought to the prosecco. If you're going to be a "tourist" for a night, you might as well do it on a boat that understands the difference between a cheap gimmick and genuine Hungarian hospitality.

Know before you go
- Taking beverages on board is not allowed. A variety of beers, wines, spirits, cocktail drinks and softdrinks are available on board. The prices of the beverages will be available on the beverages menu on your table.
- Children under 3 years of age don't need ticket (in case they are not eating), however, please inform us if you arrive with children so that we can prepare seats for them as well.
- Please Note: In case of extreme weather conditions (severe wind, hail or thunderstorms) the municipal authorities may prohibit all river cruises on the Danube.
