Editor's Note

Look, most operators will try to sell you this as just another "biblical trek," but let's be real—the industry loves a good niche label to drive up the lead price. In reality, the Seven Churches circuit is less about checking boxes in a dusty pews and more about witnessing the sheer architectural arrogance (and brilliance) of the Roman and Byzantine eras. While most of the crowd is busy obsessing over occupancy rates in boring beach resorts, you’ll be standing in the ruins of Philadelphia and Thyatira, questioning why we ever stopped building things out of solid marble. It’s a grueling pace, I’ll admit—trying to squeeze two millennia into a few days is an ambitious "ask"—but if you want to understand the actual foundation of Western thought without the corporate fluff of a standard cruise excursion, this is the one. Just don't expect the "hot mineral water" in Hierapolis to cure your jet lag; that's just good old-fashonid marketing.
