Meeting Point Please wait by the shore in front of Starbucks and Wildfire Pizzabar at the Avenue of Stars, Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade, Tsim Sha Tsui East. The Pier you will board on Dukling is right outside these 2 restaurants where you will find a flight of stairs leading down to the sea. (Please ensure you do not mistakenly go to the Public Pier near Star Ferry and Cultural Centre, as we do not pick up guests from there. If you were there, it would take 10-15 minutes walk from that Pier to Dukling's Embark point at the Tsim Sha Tsui East Pier at the Avenue of Stars) Approximately 10 minutes before your tour's departure, you will spot Dukling heading towards the pier. Our crew members will come ashore to welcome assist you in boarding Dukling. While waiting for Dukling, please do not join the large queue of people by the shore, as they are tour groups waiting for other boats and ferries.

Editor's Note

Look, most "authentic" experiences in our industry are about as real as a three-dollar bill. We’re constantly chasing high occupancy on plastic ferries that have zero soul, just to pad the RevPAR of some conglomerate. But the Dukling is different—it’s the genuine article, a 1955 wooden junk that actually smells like history rather than fresh fiberglass. It’s the last of its kind, and frankly, it’s a miracle it hasn't been replaced by a neon-lit catamaran yet. While the sails occasionally sport a brand logo to keep the maintenance funds flowing (a necessary evil in this business), the vibe remains untouchable. If you want to see Victoria Harbour without feeling like just another lead in a database, this is the boat you get on.

About the Tour

Step away from the generic sightseeing cruises and board the Dukling, the last original traditional Chinese junk still plying the waters of Hong Kong. This isn't just a boat ride; it’s a voyage on a piece of living history that has been featured by the likes of the BBC and CNN. Built in 1955, this antique vessel even survived a sinking in 2014, proving it’s as resilient as the city itself.

The Experience Onboard

As you set sail across Victoria Harbour, you’ll feel the refreshing breeze that fishermen have relied on for generations. Unlike standard tours, the Dukling doubles as a floating museum. You are free to explore the deck, examine authentic fishermen’s tools, and browse historic photos that tell the story of Hong Kong’s humble beginnings as a fishing village.

  • Complimentary Drink: Every passenger enjoys a drink while soaking in the skyline views.
  • Iconic Photography: The famous red sails provide the ultimate "Old Hong Kong" backdrop for your photos.
